Cookie and Similar Technologies Policy
How NeuroCircle uses cookies, browser storage, and related technologies on the web.
Effective July 11, 2026
Scope
This policy explains how NeuroCircle uses browser cookies, local storage, and similar technologies on neurocircle.app and the NeuroCircle web application. In this policy, we use the word 'cookies' as a convenient term for these technologies unless a distinction matters.
The NeuroCircle mobile application uses device storage and identifiers rather than browser cookies for many functions. Mobile data practices are described in the Privacy Policy and the controls available in the app and device settings.
Essential authentication and security
NeuroCircle uses essential session technologies to authenticate accounts, maintain a signed-in session, refresh authorization securely, and protect restricted pages. These technologies are necessary when you log in and cannot be disabled through NeuroCircle settings without making account features unavailable.
Automated abuse-prevention technology may use cookies, browser storage, device information, and network signals to distinguish legitimate requests from automated activity on login, registration, and application forms. These security checks are used to prevent fraud, spam, and unauthorized account activity.
Preference storage
NeuroCircle stores your selected interface language in local browser storage so the choice remains available on later visits. If no choice has been stored, the website compares the browser's preferred languages with the languages NeuroCircle currently supports and otherwise uses English.
Supported accessibility and sensory preferences may also be stored locally, including calm mode, reduced motion, contrast, font, autoplay, feed-order, tone-indicator, and content-warning preferences. These settings stay on the browser until they are changed, cleared through Cookie Settings, removed through browser controls, or removed when site data is cleared.
Analytics, advertising, and cross-site tracking
NeuroCircle does not currently activate web advertising cookies, cross-site behavioral tracking pixels, or optional web analytics cookies. We do not use cookie data to sell personal information or target advertising across unrelated services.
If NeuroCircle later introduces optional analytics or advertising technologies, this policy and Cookie Settings will be updated before those technologies are activated. Consent or opt-out controls will be provided where required by law.
Duration and recipients
Session technologies may last only for a browsing session or remain for the period needed to maintain and securely refresh an account session. Local preference storage generally remains until you clear it. Exact durations can change when security or browser behavior changes.
Contracted authentication, security, and hosting providers may process session, security-check, and technical request information only as needed to provide their services. NeuroCircle does not permit these providers to use account-session data for NeuroCircle advertising.
Your choices
Use the NeuroCircle Cookie Settings page to review and clear locally stored language and accessibility preferences. You can also delete or block cookies and site data through browser settings. Blocking essential session or security technologies may prevent login, account creation, forms, or protected web features from working.
Because NeuroCircle does not currently use optional advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, there is no advertising-cookie toggle to display. Browser privacy signals do not reduce the essential technologies required to provide a requested signed-in or security-protected service.
Updates and contact
We may update this policy when the website, providers, or legal requirements change. Material changes will receive notice where required.
